See Available SharesOur first horse
A strong, athletic bay colt by the top first-season sire Ardad, himself a son of champion sire Kodiac and winner of the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot as a two-year-old. Ardad's runners are fast, early types — exactly the profile for an exciting two-year-old campaign.
Out of Aegean Girl (by Henrythenavigator), our colt is a half-brother to the three-time winner More Than A Feelin (by Sea The Stars). His second dam is the dam of Group 3 winner Lightning Moon and Listed winner Song Of My Heart — a genuine black-type family.

In proven hands
Our colt is in training with Michael & David Easterby at New House Farm, Sheriff Hutton, in the heart of North Yorkshire racing country.
Mick Easterby is one of the great characters and survivors of the training ranks — more than five decades with a licence and well over 2,500 winners, including champion sprinter Lochnager and 1,000 Guineas heroine Mrs McArdy. Today he trains in partnership with his son David, combining that lifetime of know-how with a modern, forward-looking operation.
The yard has a long-standing reputation for doing well with sharp, early two-year-olds — exactly the mould of our Ardad colt — and for placing its horses shrewdly to win races.
